Comments: First lap was ok, the last 7 miles my heart rate was too high I had to start walking, I walk/run the last 7 miles.I had a pain on my side that went up to my right shoulder, a little painful. What would you do differently?: Train harder, I need to run better. Post race
Warm down: Had some pizza and a soda, got a massage What limited your ability to perform faster: I am too heavy I need to drop 30 lbs, train more. If I can drop these 30 lbs, I will do the same race again. Event comments: Good race for a vacation trip, the weather did not help. I will do this race again. Last updated: 2007-09-05 12:00 AM

Got up at 3:30am had a protein bar and banana. took a cab to the host hotel and then took the bus to the race site. Had a Gu 30 min before and another one right before the start.
Jog for about 5 min. swim for 100 meters.
