Swim
Comments: What is with me and swimming? Honestly I thought I was faster but alas, I guess I am all talk. Although, there was one lassie that kept swimming in a Z formation and she really did in all honestly hold me up because I kept smacking into her. She obviously wasn't sighting at all and realized at the last minute she was going in the wrong direction so straightened up. I tried countless numbers of times to pass her with no luck. What would you do differently?: Punch people. Seriously. Stay out my way. Transition 1
Comments: My wetsuit did indeed get stuck. It was a different one than before and the legs were pretty long on it. Another thing. My feet were so cold I could hardly feel them and because my cycle shoes have laces I couldn't tie them because my hands were also freezing. What would you do differently?: Get shoes WITHOUT laces, lube up heels next time. Bike
Comments: The only complaint I have is that the road was busy. Tons of parked cars all along the course, cars coming at you at speeds of 50mph. Loads of gravel, loads of people too. Hard to pass at times. At the turnaround I almost never made it. I couldn't see it because of the line of cars waiting to turn. The person directing was so busy tellng cars where to go she didn't notice bikers. Transition 2
Comments: I racked my bike in the wrong place. WHOOPS! Run
Comments: What can I say? It's my weak point. Next year however it will be my strong point. I plan to make sure of that. It'what always fails me. I do ok in the swim and the bike but come the run, I'm slow and I get passed. What would you do differently?: Train more in running. Make that a priority! Post race
Warm down: Didn't really do much. Headed out Event comments: Loads of complaints really. Don't get me wrong, I had fun and met loads of new people but it was really quite badly run. gotlst due to the directions which were confusing enough. They were out of t shirts by the time I got there which is unfair because I registered ages ago. The road course was dodgy in the fact that I felt really unsafe. It was also really busy with cars and people. There was so much going on that were tons of people there. Too busy. The food at the end was really nasty so we opted to head out and eat breakfast elsewhere. Despite my complaints I'll probably do this race again. Last updated: 2007-09-11 12:00 AM

Didn't have time as we got lost 3 times. Whoever wrote out the directions really needed to be shot.
