Pre-race routine:

Met a friend partway and he left his car and rode with me. We timed it perfectly and got an open spot and the next shuttle with no problem (great compared to the horror stories we had heard about in the past.)

Course: Hardly any hills. Great fan support and awesome bands and cheerleader groups! Not too scenic, but the course is mostly flat and fast.
