Swim
Comments: The swim was definitely the most difficult part, this was my first triathlon and I had never swam in open water before. I got in the pool for the first time since the summer to swim two days before the race. What would you do differently?: Practiced swimming more, in the pool and in open water Transition 1
Comments: transition was definitely difficult, was unable to find my bike at first, taking the wetsuit off while running is definitely a good idea! my wetsuit was off before i even got to the transition area What would you do differently?: i would have known where my bike was! Bike
Comments: I was borrowing a friends bike and had no idea of how to change the gears, i rode in one gear the entire ride! What would you do differently?: i would have been more comfortable with the bike that i was on Transition 2
Comments: hard transition Run
Comments: i was soooooo excited to get my running shoes on! This is my forte, i might have gone out a little too fast because i was soooo excited, but the adrenaline just kept me going! Post race
Warm down: stretched out a little What limited your ability to perform faster: my bike and my swim Event comments: this was a great beginning race! i loved every momment of it and am definitely hooked! I just wish triathlon registrations were not so expensive! Last updated: 2007-09-25 12:00 AM
