Got there later than usual since I wasn't doing the swim. I stretched, but I didn't feel very warmed up.

I did not do the swim. I did the bike and run as part of a 2 man relay.

Windy. I stayed in a lower gear to keep the pedals spinning rapidly. I did not want to fight the wind. I biked as fast as I could since I thought that I would only do the bike and not run. This was an exceptionally fast pace for me, and I am proud of it. Almost 23 mph!

I was not prepared to run. I found out in T2, that we needed a runner. I had to pull out my running shoes and put the # on my race belt.

Event comments:

I'd like to add this race to the calendar. Nice, flat course. It is a beautiful setting, and there is no travel involved. Great way to end the Season.
