Comments:

I kicked ass...I mean, not podium kicking ass...but just personal kicking ass. ran first 7 miles at around an 8:05 pace. Kept thinking, I need to slow down or I will burn out...but I just felt good so kept going.
What would you do differently?:

Stopped at mile 7 to eat some sport beans...I don't think I needed them and it through off my pace.

I can't say enough good things about the Rock and Roll team...last year was the first san jose race and I was expecting it to be disorganized, but this group has their stuff together...So I was expecting great things this year...and was not disappointed. Very well run race.
