Pre-race routine:

Got up around 4:30, had a moderate breakfast with other runners at the hotel, went down and walked the pen area. Did the gear check thing and then went to the start.

Comments:

Most of the race went according to plan. I was really comfortable to the raceway, then after that it was pushing through to the finish. I made most of my time in the middle third.
What would you do differently?:

I executed 80% of my race very well, the only thing I would have done differently is cut back my early pace about 5 sec/mi. It would have made the last 3 miles easier to finish.

The usual post race food, drink, and walking.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Can't say there was any limiters, I beat my personal goad by over 2:00 so that in itself is great. The fact that I was in the top 500 finishers was really cool, they give you another medal for that.

Event comments:

This is the biggest and one of the best 1/2 Marathons, a must do on anyones list. I am really glad I did. Now, on to the triathlons...
