Pre-race routine:

Wheat bagel, blue machine smoothie, lots of water up until 1:00 before heat start.
Event warmup:

Ran for 10-15 minutes including 4-5 strides. Swam for about 5 minutes including several short sprints.

Comments:

I'm pretty sure I won the swim but somebody screwed up w/ the timing so it shows somebody with an ungodly 7 minute time. Maybe they went with the wrong heat.
What would you do differently?:

Use anti-fog drops so that my goggles don't fog up by the end. Had difficulty locating the last buoy and going directly in to the transition area.

Still don't do the already-clipped shoes thing. Also had a lot of trouble getting wetsuit off while running.
What would you do differently?:

Work on pulling suit off when very tired and while running. Also work on riding w/ feet on shoes.

Took it way too easy on the run, I'm scared to push my pace without having my computer to tell me how fast I'm going.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Was sick the night before ,not feeling great on race day, and I forgot my GPS/computer. I've never run or biked without it before especially in a race so I was a bit lost.

Event comments:

They screwed up with the timing so results took a while to show up. I think there is still an error with the swim segment as somebody has a ridiculously fast time and I verified that I was first out of the water in my heat.
