Pre-race routine:

Night before stayed at brother-in laws 1/2 hr from race. Went to dinner had chicken parm and a couple of beers. Morning of woke up at 4am took a shower had some cereal and headed out around 4:45. Stopped at DD for a bagel and coffee. Got to the site got marked and set up.

Good start. Passed alot of swimmers. Breathing could have been better, and I had to take to many sight breaths.

Less sight breaths, and go out harder for the first 200

Bike killed me. The longest I had ridden before the race was 10 miles. At mile 18 I thought my legs were going to fall off. Luckly at mile 20 they went numb. The last 5 miles went well.

Legs were shot. Left Legs cramped around mile one and then my right cramped 1/2 mile later. They switched back and forth for the remainder of the run.

Stretched and drank plenty if fluids.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Training. I only was able to run about 10 times, swim about 6 times and ride 8 to 10.

Great race can wait to do it again as a trained inshape triathlete
