What would you do differently?:

I do not have a trisuit, so i have to put on bike shorts over my swim shorts, put on my race shirt, pick all the stuff that fell out of my back pockets.

Comments:

I spent more time breathing on T1. I made sure i was %100 ready, and i didnt forget anything
What would you do differently?:

I am just glad i did not have a tire go down. When i finished the race, my tire was flat, again!! crazy.
What would you do differently?:

Hfave a better bike, my pedaling was fine.
Transition 2
  • 02m 10s
Comments:

I unstrapped my shoes fine, rode in with no shoes on, dismounted fast. Ran in, smiled for a pic, changed shoes and off to the run.

  • 55m 49s
  • 6.55 miles
  • 08m 31s  min/mile
Comments:

This is my home run, i felt great. I was just so happy to have any problems behind me. I stayed behind a 14 year old for the whole run, and we passsed SO many people, i thanked him after. I thought my pace was better, but 8.5 is ok for 10k for me.
What would you do differently?:

I wish my HRM was on, but i was already slower than scheduled, so i skipped it. Man i wish Ipods were legal.
Post race
Warm down:

Just water, and a bannana. pictures.blah blah. I went to the party and awards. I WON!!!! Free Beer and 2 bottles of wine!! No trophies though...I drank a bit to much, glad im off today.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My bike is a serious problem......I am in the market.

Event comments:

Red Rock did a great job overall, I had only one course problem due to a volunteer who wasnt paying very good attn. These guys worked hard, and did a great overall job.

Course: I liked this course, exept when the direction guys werent on there game, it got a little confusing...I went the wrong way because the guy wasnt paying attn., talking to his buddy, and the guy yelled at me, and instead of directing me, he said "did you not look at the website?" I told him to not get me started on their website!! Or their rapid changing bike course and send me on the right way. That little conflict cost me tons of momentum, and about 25 seconds of that idiot. Not to mention my friend passed me at that time..
