Comments: Went into the race hoping to keep 9 minute pace and did that successfully. They didn't sort the start by race pace, so I put myself towards the back which probably hurt me. The first mile was spent playing frogger through people and probably meant I was running it closer to 9:30 pace. What would you do differently?: Start closer to the start line. Post race
Warm down: Found my family got a banana, water, and pretzel then stretched. Stood in the cold for a few more miles waiting for my brother to finish the marathon. What limited your ability to perform faster: Starting too far back and not enough training. Decided to do it a few weeks ago and just kind of did some running the last few weeks to get ready. Event comments: Good race, next year I would like to do the marathon, but the Rothman 8K is definitely a nice addition to the weekend events. Last updated: 2007-10-30 12:00 AM
