  • 11m 18s  min/mile
Comments:

2 30-seconds walk breaks at water stations.

What would you do differently?:

should have gone with original plan of 10/2 pattern, opening up stride.
otherwise, no change.
Post race
Warm down:

brief cool down walk, ate a banana, chugged some recovery

What limited your ability to perform faster:

couldn't block out pain in right shoulder -
need more practice running faster pace for longer distances.

Event comments:

Good traffic control, lots of local volunteers. Saw a couple people I know (including IndyGreg). I liked not having to stop at the end to remove the timing chip and race results were online in a short amount of time. I had fun overall.. I'll do it again next year.
