Run
Comments: We talked about running together. Lost Tri_again at the start when she went to the porta-potty. The running together lasted about 0.5 mile when akabak started flying up the hill. Mile 1 marker was where the 5-k'ers split up with the 5-milers. The crowd thinned out. scott was still on my right, separated by a group. By 1.5 mile, I felt warm and took of my outter layer. Scott was a few steps behind me. I fell into my own comfortable pace. Mile 2 water station, scott still slightly behind. SunnyS past me there. Few minutes later tri_again past me. Tried to run with her but she was too fast. On a down hill saw scott ran by. Followed him but could keep up, then lost him. Since we've lost everyone I decided to run at my own pace, and push a bit. Last mile was a big down hill and I was cruising. Close to the finish saw a coworker walking on the sidewalk. He lived around the area but wasn't in the race. Post race
Warm down: Got stuck at the bottle neck where everyone returned timimg chips and got food. Scott came up behind me. Apparently I was following the wrong guy. Got some water and a bagel, and the apple pie. Walked back to car to get my jacket - starting to get cold. Back to the finish area and hung out with Joanne and Amanda. Then the 5-k walkers (Max, Patti, Joanne's son and daughter, Ontherun and his wife) arrived. Chit-chatted for a while then go home. Event comments: Great way to get a good workout before the Thanksgiving binge-eating. COol to hang out with BTers, too. Last updated: 2007-11-07 12:00 AM

Went there early to get a parking spot outside of the "official" lot. Took a nap in the car listening to the Eine Kleine Nacht Musik. Sipped some coffee. Then to the track where kids run to meet up with BTers.
Jogged to porta-potty, then to track.
