Pre-race routine:

Probably not enough stretching, but I di some nonetheless. Had a Snickers Marathon Bar, some peanut butter toast, and a gatorade for breakfast.

Comments:

Prior to the race, I didn't feel like I was going to have a good race. Mentally I was there, but I just didn't feel like I had it physically. I don't know that my legs were rested enough - - but I did sign up for this late and it is not an 'A' race.
What would you do differently?:

I would probably rest a little more.

Warm down:

Grabbed some water and headed back to see my wife finish. She rocked!!! Her goal was to go sub 52:00 - - she came in at 48:31 (13/143AG; 64/1011 OA).

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just my semi-tired legs.

Event comments:

I beat the Turkey!!!
About the only thing I didn't like was that this was a gun start (no timing chips) race. Glad I crowded up near the line for the start.
