Swim
Comments: water was very warm and I wore a wetsuit. I was overheating and my HR was way up. My googles were smudged despite tryint to clean them while in the water and navigating was tough therefore had a hard time getting into a groove. What would you do differently?: I really haven't been swim trainging so I got what I deserved. Transition 1
Comments: T1 was not timed. There was a 1/4 mile run from the swim to Transition area. Bike
Comments: T1 and T2 were not timed. The bike split included T1 & T2, including the run from the lake. My watch had my true bike split at 50mins (19.2mph). It took awhile to bring my HR down after the swim. Then I settled in and did ok. I wasn't passing people but I wasn't really getting passed much either. Transition 2
Comments: T2 was not timed. It was included in the bike split. Run
Comments: I started to suffer on the run, but I hung in there. Post race
Warm down: gatorade, water & pizza... enjoyed watching people finsh. What limited your ability to perform faster: low training volume. Event comments: I would like to see the race timed via chip timing. Otherwise it was a great day, well organized and a lot of fun. Last updated: 2007-11-17 12:00 AM
