Comments: just an OK run for me...i really want to break into 23 this race and it didn't happen...grr but I have to remember that I ran my first 5k 6 months ago and hated running before that.. so I'm making progress :) What would you do differently?: run faster! Post race
Warm down: ate a bagel and drank some water - stretched out the calves and the hamstrings again What limited your ability to perform faster: genetics?? :) haha.. i need to do some speed work Event comments: Well organized local race.. and I won an apple pie on Thanksgiving! :) Last updated: 2007-11-19 12:00 AM

Cereal for breakfast and left the house 45 minutes before the race start.
Ran 10 minutes or so through the Main Street area and made sure I stretched my hamstrings since they've been pretty tight lately.
