Run
Comments: It was drizzling to really raining for the first half of the race, then only a slight drizzle there after. I had gotten off of a 20+ hr flight the night before and had missed several weeks of training due to a broken pinkey toe. But I had already signed up and I was determined to do this race. I just wanted to have one person behind me when I crossed the finish line. Given that is the case, I am happy with my time. I did walk a few small stretches since my feet were still pretty swollen from the flight the night before. What would you do differently?: Not have a broken toe or do any race after flying 20 hours. I would have probably trained a little more prior to the run. This was the longest length I had run so it was more of a prove it to me race. I wanted to see if I could finish this race. I did and it wasn't too disrespectful of a time. Post race
Warm down: LOTS OF TURKEY!!!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Toe, sleep, jet lag Event comments: Fun race, great temperature. The rain stunk but we need it so bad, I didn't care. I will definitely do it again next year, if I don't try to upgrade to the full Mary. Last updated: 2007-11-24 12:00 AM

Not much as I had flown in from a business trip to Asia the night before. So I was a little screwed up sleep wise.
