Swim
Comments: The water was to warm for wetsuit in my opinion. What would you do differently?: Get closer to the front on the start. Transition 1
Comments: My shirt got caught up and had a heck of a time trying to get it straightened out...run from swim exit to tranistion was tough b/c of the pavement. Feet were killing by the time I reached T1. What would you do differently?: work on shirt, maybe wear wetsuit if water was colder. Bike
What would you do differently?: Gotta check the tightness of every bolt on the bike before I start. Reset computer too. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Remember to put out power bar! Run
Post race
Warm down: Walk around, enjoy cooling fans, drink a lot, eat a little too sit and relax waiting for buddy Chris to finish. Enjoying being done! What limited your ability to perform faster: Poor swim start. Poor time in T1. Event comments: Far to many people to make this course a fast one. I was lucky enough to be in the 2nd wave of Oly distance so that helped me out a great deal as i didnt have to worry about passing or being passed by to many people. Last updated: 2005-02-28 12:00 AM

Got to tranistion around 4:45...found a great spot to setup right beside a tree so no one could be directly next to me and it wouldn't crowd me in. Had a great line to the bike exit. Walked around and got familiar with the transition area. Ate a powerbar and some water & gatorade that I got at the expo.
Very little other than walking to the swim start and waiting in litle for the porta potty.
