Comments:

Came into this undertrained and overfed. It was fun though. Saw Dudley at the start and started with him towards the back. Probably incurred a 10-15 second penalty due to the time it took to cross the start line and then work my way through the crowd.

I probably didn't go hard enough in mile 2 but I'm not in the best of shape at the moment. This one was done mostly on guts. Still, the 5:11 pace in the final .1 mile is surprising. According to the Garmin I was doing 4:12 when I crossed the finish line. Can't believe I had that in me.

What would you do differently?:

Train more. Eat less. Run faster.
Post race
Warm down:

Went into the shelter to warm up. Hung out with Dudley, ate some food.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Too much sitting on my behind. A caloric surplus.

Event comments:

The Freezeroo series is fun. It's a good motivator throughout the winter.
