Felt pretty strong, but I knew this race was going to take everything I had. Even from the beginning.

I didn't really try to be quick. I just wanted a clean transition, to get everything I needed, and get my composure back together. Mission accomplished.

Hustle a bit more, as always.

I think I did very well overall. We ran into a train and with slow down, wait, and speed up I'm sure I lost a minute. I felt POWERFUL on the flats and did fine on the hills. I passed a ton of people I think.

I stopped at the potty :) It was a tough run, and I ran slowly. So there. I tend to leave everything on the bike course and I am still working on that.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I had let my training slide. I make decisions that leave me with a mediocre race. I wasn't particularly into this race either, although I would have liked to have done just a bit better than last year...

Event comments:

Better organized feeling than last year, that's for sure. All in all everthing was fine. I just don't care for this particular race.
