Pre-race routine:

Couple of cups of coffee, Cliff Bar, and a banana. Drove to Mike and Val's house and we walked to the race.
Event warmup:

The walk to the race, over 1 mile and some stretches.

Comments:

Great fast run. It was too crowded at the start with both the 10K and 5K runners squeezed into a small chute but after we split up it was really nice.

I am really pleased with the run, I felt strong the whole way and I think my form was good throughout. The time is from my watch.
What would you do differently?:

I think I can still go faster but am just chicken. Push harder.
Post race
Warm down:

Drank some water, ate a banana, eventually walked back to Mike and Val's.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just need more time in my running shoes!

Event comments:

I might as well be a broken record...but doing these races with my wife and our friends is just awesome. Good or bad run it's always a good time.
