Took in a lot of water in the very beginning. Was able to keep up with some of the more faster swimmers. I never got passes by the wave group behind me! About 4 minutes faster than last year.

The humidity got me at mile one. Struggled getting up the major hills in mile two. About the same time as last year.
Post race
Warm down:

Lots of walking around. Tried to get something to eat, but my stomach didn't want any parts of it. I just kept drinking water and found a nice shade tree to try and stretch out.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nutrition. I wasn't able to really keep any solid food down the week leading up to the tri. I would get sick about an hour after I ate anything. I kept tring to eat, but my stomach didn't like me. I think if I would have been able to keep food down, I don't think I would have hit the wall in mile two of my run. I pushed through, and finished strong. I shaved 14 minutes off of last years time and I am really proud of that.
