drink more on bike - overall this was a great ride, i had ridden the course 5 or 6 times and managed to ride significantly faster than any of my training rides. So, while I ultimately wish I could ride faster, I realize this was a great ride for me

Felt great until mile 4 when I got a severe leg cramp, walked through next water stop, drank two cups of gatorade and was able to finish strong. This is a slow run time for me but it was hot and the leg cramp really threw me off.
What would you do differently?:

Drink more on bike to prepare for run. not stop and walk no matter how bad it hurts.

Event comments:

First year, race obviously needs a little work. The run course was a mess, but the swim and bike were perfect. Overall this is a wonderful race that can only get better. There wasn't really any post race refreshment - water, gatorade, bagels...that was a bummer also. It was my first Olympic distance race, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I had fun and it was challenging.
