Comments:

this is were my lead and charge for AG disappeared, I was so ready to cry.First time this happened, got racked bike in my spot #1171 and all my running gear, number, shoes, socks were gone, wetsuite was there,I was so totally panicked, somebody grabbed my running stuff by accident, finally found it two racks over, shoes and socks but no race number,so paniced somebody from USAT helped me and made sure I didn't get a penality, apologized profusely numbers of times, finally got my gear on and off I went, could have placed from what I feel in top 5 for AG, next year
What would you do differently?:

I'm going to start hanging my shoes and race belt from bike rack, new plan, can't believe somebody made a mistake and took my stuff, I would have at least placed it back in right spot

Comments:

Should have stopped and regained my composure after all that happened in T2,misssing shoes, socks and race belt, thought I could make up time on the run,the guys ahead of me on bike were so tired from bike, think they went out to hard, where I was ready and willing to go the distance,so upset
What would you do differently?:

I bonked at finish line, first time I fell down and was dragged off to medical, actually happened at last turn around just before finish line,so embaressed
Post race
Warm down:

sat in medical

What limited your ability to perform faster:

my missing running stuff from T2,the shock

Course: course was great, water temp good, with many cool spots in between.Start was great, did very well staying to far right working myself in towards center leading to bridge, once I passed first bouy, congestion, slowed me but keep moving, rounded second bouy found more open space and keep going till I passed bridge. This is where it became difficult, caught up with two previous swim wave stragglers. Two people actually grabbed me,yelled at one guy for holding onto to me and sracthing the hell out of me,last 500 was really hard to sight, the sun making it hard, fogged up goggles, still fun swim
