Comments: Started a little quick. (7:30 1st mi - tho, it was mostly down hill) Could have run faster in the 2nd mile (8:45 2nd mile) Coul have kicked a little harder at the end (got passed just before finish) What would you do differently?: Start farther back in the pack (about 1/3 of the way back based on where i've been finishing). Start a little slower, pick up the pace 3/4 to 1 mi mark. Post race
Warm down: light jog - stretching What limited your ability to perform faster: More sleep would have been good. Some joint issues, didn't want to push too hard (hip especially). Definitely started too fast, which wore on me bit mentally because i was passed quite a bit. I think starting back further would have given me more confidence, because it would have allowed me to build more slowly and pass some others. Event comments: Race was organized pretty well.
