Swim
Comments: Plan was to take this out slower and save some for the bike run. I felt like I was not pushing too hard - keeping breathing steady and mostly open turns to get exta air - turns out same distance as 1st race in series and lower perceived effort - I think that is a good thing What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 1
Comments: everyone gets 10 - though I hit my lap button late after the swim - i was about 15sec late for start of bike - oops What would you do differently?: not be a knuckle head Bike
Comments: need to incraese the resistance - i was able to make up some time at teh end by increasing the resistance What would you do differently?: increase resistance earlier in the 20 min Transition 2
Comments: everyone gets 5 What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: started slowly and lo and behold - started to feel stronger as time went on - i'm pretty sure I negative splitted it but don;t know as i was not timing laps. When the 1 minute warning was given was able to push a bit - Took 20sec off mile pace compared to last race 2 weeks ago - happy with that! What would you do differently?: run faster Post race
Warm down: walk around drink some dilute gatorade What limited your ability to perform faster: T1 could have been better but in long run not sure 15 sec made that big a difference - increase resistance on bike after legs warm up - push harder on run - at least today I had it in me. Event comments: again had fun - vols were great (Thanks Suzy!) - now just waitig for official results Last updated: 2008-01-09 12:00 AM
