Pre-race routine:

Ate oatmeal 2 hours before race start. Had 1 hammer gel prior to start as well.

Had arm warmers on and did not need them. Also ran with cycling gloves on... ditto. Got too warm and had to peel them off! Took it out too fast in the first mile - and slowed down to maintain planned pace the last two miles. Good run!

Killed on passing people! I really threw it into a good gear and just went - flew right by and never ran the risk of them catching back up. Rode pretty consistent too.
What would you do differently?:

Hammer a little more and just go for it! I reserved strength for the last run, but I think that if I went faster on the bike my last run would have been the same.

SO SLOW! I need to get better at running off of the bike. Not too far off from the first run's time - and all sub 12's! That was pretty cool!

Warm down:

Walked and talked to people that I knew and had met! Went to lunch with Mike instead of waiting the 40 minutes for awards. I took 3rd in my group!
