Warm down: Ran into Jess, Dollar and there friend Brian and sat for a few and talked. Had some issues behind my knee and was gonna roll it out but couldnt figure out a good postion to work it. Left my gear and went home for alittle while. I fixed a bit to eat and then got a call from poor Steve....seems he had hypothermia just out of the water and into the bike. Once he was taken care of his wife and he tried to get in their car to go back to camp and it is broken down! I had given them my number on friday so if they needed anything not to hesitate and call. So as I was warming up some pasta I had made I get a call and Steve tells me about his DNF and about the car and Im like holy shit this isnt your weekend! So he is trying to figure out if he can get a rental insurace people blah blah blah and I said call me when you figure out what to do. Little bit goes by and ring ring....everyone is closed because it is Sat and wont be open till Tuesday because it is a holiday weekend. They get his car towed to a shop and I head to pick them up and get them back to their camp site on the way to race number 3. Event comments: HFP is wonderful! Last updated: 2008-01-23 12:00 AM

Had dreams all nite about the damn wet suit problems and it was super cold this morning
Put the stupid wet suit on and got in the water to get the chill off and try to get use to it...there was no way to not wear one and even being a shorty it was better then none. After I got out to wait for the race to beging I just shivered.....couldnt stop!
