Pre-race routine:

I have no routine. Coffee, doughnut, some water. Rush out door in a frantic sprint.
Event warmup:

Arrived in plenty of time to discover I forgot my helmet. Friend in neighborhood came out in her PJs to loan me her snazzy purple model.
Did some jogging/surges to warm up. Then sat around in the cold for a LONg time. T1 protocol had us in our cycling shoes, so jogging was out and we couldn't get to bikes.

Had WAY too much left at end of swim. But it was great practice. I stayed calm, I could work on flaws with my (bad) form.
