This was a training run and I did better than last year.
Balance bar at 7:30AM, gel at 8:10 racew start at 8:30. and gell at 7 miles,
walk and stretch. (message the legs) A little sore do to the extra effort for the last three miles.
What limited your ability to perform faster:
I will use my HR monitor in this race to keep in the upper Z2, 150 bpm.
Well I let my HR go to 160 vs 150. But my breath was stead and I felt like in the z3 but below z4. picked up pace last three miles z4. heavey wind 10 mph in face after the park, last 4 miles. Out of the park hills at 6 miles.

up early this moring to get son off to soccer games. 5:15 AM. Rub down with ice hot to lossen up. Tight due to training Stretched 3 times,
No real warm-up. Walked/jog 3/4 mile to start.
