Swim
Comments: I liked being a deeper pool, it's faster and the temp was just right. The digital clock were placed just right to keep up with the pacing. I had a hard time with the floating wall end and getting the flips right. On one turn I just touched my middle toe. Being able to view the clock helped to push at the end. We are ranked on number of lengths. I got 44. put me up in the top 3%. Felt good. What would you do differently?: Practice turns against wall. Transition 1
Comments: Took a little longer then I wanted to. Didn't have a bunch of time to adjust bike but got it pretty close. What would you do differently?: Move my ass faster. Bike
Comments: All out on spinner bikes. Would have loved to have 30 seconds more to adjust to me. Need seat back further. I was pouring buckets of sweat out by the 5 minute mark. Tried to keep it at 30+ miles an hour. What would you do differently?: Adjust bike better. Transition 2
Comments: Walked around with a little bit of run t loosen up some. Drank all the water I had and wiped my brow. Luckily no much sweat in my eyes. What would you do differently?: Bring a bigger towel. Run
Comments: Was looking for tow miles and should have brought my watch to pace myself. The pace felt. Our counter was a quiet man so until I got to 9 laps I had no idea were I was. Pushed hard to get to 15 but fell short. Could had something to do with the nine miler yesterday. The legs felt good just a little tired. What would you do differently?: Maybe run and 6 miler the day before like Mike wanted too. Post race
Warm down: Walked around a little and looked for Karen t hit the bike from the pool. She got to bike late some excuse about sports bra and wet body. I said we would practice it later. Had my legs rubbed out by some cute guy, oop by the massage therapist. Cheered on Karen at the start and went to change. There I talked to a naked guy about Tupper Lake and Mooseman. The Tupper Lake conversation was OK but never and I repeat never talk to a naked guy about Mooseman, it's just not right. Mike if you read this I need some BT business cards or something to hand out. Everyone was great to talk to even the dressed ones. I found out after getting ready to head out that there was a hot tub to get into, ugh! What limited your ability to perform faster: Whimpy legs. I think the bike was hampered by the swim, and run was hampered by both. I did well fr me and enjoyed it. Hey you don't have to make it to the finish line just do it for 15 minutes, (that would be nice). Event comments: Good tri to start the year. Talked to Mike hall before and after the my race. HE was trying t leave but wasn't having much luck. Enjoyed myself and met some new friends. Karen T is now a triathlete!! Way to go Karen. Number 5&7 good job. I was number 6. Ken it was as usual. girl/boy/girl. It would be great to get a bunch of BT'er there next year. Last updated: 2008-02-21 12:00 AM

MY wave didn't start till 1:40pm. Slept in. Breakfast of buckwheat pancakes, butter and syrup and grape juice, not on pancakes. Met with Willies case worker and Headed up to RIT about two hours before wave. 40 minute drive. So there in plenty of time. Drank some coffee and water on way up. Really had to pee when I got there.
Stretched wathing the bike and run stuff before me and swam 50 yds in pool.
