Comments:

Swim went well. At turnaroun it was shallow so I had to run and then for the next 200 yards my hands hit the bottom so that I could not get a good stroke.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe go a little harder.

Comments:

It was rocky and all dirt and that just made it hard to get anything off and on without getting realy dirty. I also had to pack up my Wetsuit so that it would be transfered over to T2. T1 and T2 are at different locations. It was hard to unzip wetsuit and that took my attention and kept me from running faster. Also, the rocks made the running up T1 slow.
What would you do differently?:

It was just not the best T1 area.

I was penalized for drafting and it was hard because I was not and it was in the first 5 miles which are on a busy road. What can you do. It definitely affected me but I got over it three days later. I think.
What would you do differently?:

My HR seemed low but my legs seemed to be going fast. I still need a lot of improvement on the Bike and is the #1 area that is holding me back.

Comments:

We had to leave our shoes in T2 overnight and I covered mine with a white towel in case it rained or sprinklers came on. Well...several others did the same thing and with the same colored towel. Went past mine and had to waste time going back and finding mine. I also need to learn to ride with my feet on top of my shoes.
What would you do differently?:

I really need to make sure I know where my stuff is. Probably could have saved 10-20 seconds.

Nailed the run. I was most happy about this aspect of my race. My best 13.1 only race is 1:36 so you can see that I did very well.
What would you do differently?:

Try to turn it up at the end on my own and not due to someone passing me.
