Nice walk with Angel for first 11 miles, saw I needed to average <12m/m to finish under 3 hours, so jogged the last 2.1.
What would you do differently?:

Post race
Warm down:

Waited for Angel, then went up the ramp to eat.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

No run training for last fifteen months.

Event comments:

Nice race as always, new course was a good change. Disappointed that they ran out of medals before we finished, all we got was an IOU.

Course: New course this year, down Poydras, left on Bourbon to Dumaine, then back on Royal. Royal changes to St. Charles at Canal, out to Audubon Park then around the running trail there and back to Poydras.
