Run
Comments: This was an absolutely amazing event, crowd support is A1. I never hit the wall, maybe for a brief period at mile 24. Otherwise it was the most amazing Marathon I ever ran. I ran Boston for the event and not to break a PR, I think this made it more enjoyable. What would you do differently?: Take sun tan lotion Post race
Warm down: Walked through finish area then took a cab back to the hotel (had bad cramps in the calfs after I got into the cab. What limited your ability to perform faster: Weight and Winter training, this limited my cross training time on the bike. Event comments: AMAZING a must do Race! Last updated: 2008-03-02 12:00 AM

Fairly good sleep - +6 hours, woke up at 5:40. Breakfast - Bagel w/ peanut butter and jam, banana and coffee. Rode bus to start, then had one more bagel and half a banana with a small bottle of Gatorade. Weather was initally overcast and cold - should have taaken more clothing and also something to rest on.
Minor stretches and walk to start. Trying to keep warm at the start was hard. Should have taken more clothes
