Run
Comments: The day before the race I pulled my left hamstring and I wasn't sure if was able to run or not. I started slowly, limping for the first 2km and only got into my normal pace after 4 kms. I slowly pick-ed up the pace and got to the 10km mark in 57 minutes. Struggled between km 13-18, the longest kms ever, and picked-up the pace again in the last 3km. What would you do differently?: Avoid injuries, in general, and especially before races! Post race
Warm down: Walked to the parking lot, about 1 km. Event comments: Very well organized, great venue, tons of volunteers, lots of fun. Last updated: 2008-03-06 12:00 AM

Got up at 5am, showered, had my breakfast and I was out the door at 6am.
I got in the parking lot 30 minutes before the start time. I walked to the start point, lined up, stretched a little and got busy setting up the Forerunner 305 I borrowed for the race .
