Comments: Need to get some new goggles, couldn't see the buoy's. Water was clean, clear, and very comfortable. Got in a good rhythm. Was hoping to swim 32-33 min. What would you do differently?: Swim faster,...what else! Transition 1
Comments: Stuck in wetsuit...again!! 1/2 mile+ run from the swim finish to TA. Made up some time during that run! What would you do differently?: Get the darn wetsuit off quickly! Bike
Comments: 48mph! Went out just a fraction too hard and had to recover somewhat just before the last hill. Raced along with Andrew,..had someone to push me. What would you do differently?: Not drop my gels. Maybe I would have had a bit more energy. Transition 2

Comments: Didn't drink any (all shaded course) b/c they had heed. Started out steady and got into a rhythm and turned it on at the end. Probably b/c I was being chased by the 3rd place female!! First 10K since last december. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: wetsuit, swimming, socks, dropped my gels. Event comments: Great venue, clean lake, perfect temperature. Fast bike course. I will definately do this one again!! Last updated: 2008-03-13 12:00 AM

Camped out @race site the night before. Didn't sleep well and woke up late. Ate a banana and a 1/2 bagel.
Loosened up on the bike, got in the right gear and racked it. Walked the 1/2+ mile walk to the swim start since the water was low.
