I arrived around 0700 to set up my transition are. It was so cold that I set most of it up and then would go from the van to the Transition area or the building. Lana and Anne were there so I spent time talking to them as well.
Event warmup:

very light stretching due to cold. I did not do any type of exercise warm up. It may have been nice but outside tempreature sucked.

Realy cold. Wind was kicking, but I was glad I put on my long sleve T-Shirt. Dropped water bottle and had to go back and get it. Cost me a little bit, but tried to make it up with gearing on the downwind side.

Post race
Warm down:

Due to weather no real warm down was done other than sprited walking between finish line, van and back to pick up gear.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Transitions hampered overall performance.

Event comments:

Volunteer support was awsome. Even the police were supportive and cheering on the participants. Some things like weather were working against the event and its pre/post race events.
