Swim
Comments: I felt my swim went quite well. I had the same problem of not really being able to see but I was able to lift my head without having to stop. When I got out of the water my watch read 17:30 but by the time I ran to the timing mat it added an additional minute. What would you do differently?: Swimming is still my weakest link. I just need to keep working at it. However, I am very excited that I PR'd my swim by 2 minutes from last year when I swam this course!! Transition 1
Comments: I'm not sure why my transition took me two minutes!! I got my wet suit off fairly easy, had to tie my running shoes (I haven't changed over to bike shoes yet), however, there were over 900 people in this race and I did have quite a run from my transition spot to the bike mount! What would you do differently?: Just keep on practicing... Bike
Comments: My ride felt great...I was pleased! Transition 2
Comments: Transition #2 was much easier...just had to grab my hat! Run
Comments: My run felt good...in hindsight I may have been able to go a little harder as I had a lot left in the end but overall I felt strong. I can't complain. Post race
Warm down: Ummm...I forgot to do this and today I am paying for it! Event comments: Great weekend overall in White Lake. I PR'd my time by almost 5 minutes from the last time I did this course last year so I was pleased!! Last updated: 2008-03-15 12:00 AM

We stayed over in a tent, so woke up and got changed. Had half a bagel with peanut butter and half of an apple. Scott, Amber and I took us stuff to the transition to set up and then just relaxed til race time.
Short jog around the area. Then got my wetsuit on and got in the water.
