Pre-race routine:

This was a warm up for Florida 70.3 on May 18th. So I had no intentions of pushing too hard.
Event warmup:

2 Hour drive from New York City. Only had 30 minutes to pick up my packet, get marked, and lay out my transition.

Good swim, hung to the back of the wave at the start and passed people as needed. Was happy with my stroke and did not push too hard.

Slow transition, did not have time to set up and was digging though my stuff for my bike shoes. Also on wet sand which sucked.
