Comments: Just wanted to work on sighting today. Swam all over the place during my last HIM. I was able to hug every buoy, so I was happy with my nav. What would you do differently?: Swim more consistently leading up to race. The preceeding two months worked out to approx 1 swim per week. Transition 1
Comments: Very slow. Ranked 720th. What would you do differently?: Not take it easy. Bike
Comments: PR on the bike. Happy, but didn't break goal of 2.30 - almost. What would you do differently?: Get some race wheels. Push harder at the end. I was hesitant due to the heat. Transition 2
Comments: Average What would you do differently?: Practice Run
Comments: Hot, hot, hot. Kept hydrated. I was hesitant to push on the way out or until the 10 mile point. Then I didn't have much left. Learned to pee while running. I was so wet from water it didn't matter. Feet took a beating from all the water. What would you do differently?: I'm happy with the run. I need to train more in this fatigued state to get the run times down to reach goal. Post race

Wake up in Annapolis. Eat and drive to race. Showed up pretty late - no time to hit the head. Not really hungry or eager to race. Downed to bottles of Ensure, and 1 scoop of CarboPro with OJ.
