Pre-race routine:

Wake up in Annapolis. Eat and drive to race. Showed up pretty late - no time to hit the head. Not really hungry or eager to race. Downed to bottles of Ensure, and 1 scoop of CarboPro with OJ.

Just wanted to work on sighting today. Swam all over the place during my last HIM. I was able to hug every buoy, so I was happy with my nav.

Swim more consistently leading up to race. The preceeding two months worked out to approx 1 swim per week.

Get some race wheels. Push harder at the end. I was hesitant due to the heat.

Hot, hot, hot. Kept hydrated. I was hesitant to push on the way out or until the 10 mile point. Then I didn't have much left. Learned to pee while running. I was so wet from water it didn't matter. Feet took a beating from all the water.
What would you do differently?:

I'm happy with the run. I need to train more in this fatigued state to get the run times down to reach goal.

Warm down:

Hosed off past the finish line. Felt great. Massage in the tent.
