Swim
Comments: Felt like I swam pretty well, wasn't trying to push to hard I just wanted to have a nice solid swim. The course felt a little short though, I don't think I swam quite that fast. Transition 1
Comments: Not a bad T1, no wetsuit sure makes it easier. Bike
Comments: After having a pretty good bike in Mexico I was hoping to have a good ride this race but it just didn't happen. I never felt like I could maintain a really good speed, I'd get going good for a bit and let it slip away. Didn't feel that tired just couldn't maintain speed. What would you do differently?: This summer's Goal must be to rectify this problem once and for all! Transition 2
Comments: No problems Run
Comments: Felt pretty good the whole time. I fell into a nice comfortable pace and just kind of stuck with that, I went a little faster a couple of times but somehow just slipped back to this pace. It was getting kind of hot but they had lots of water available most of which gets dumped over my head. Sometimes I think I'm wetter at the end of the run than when I get out of the water but it sure helps in keeping cool. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: I couldn't keep up my speed on the bike, and for some reason lacked the get after it spirit to go faster on the run but it was fun to be out there. Event comments: It was a fun well run race. I was a little concerned about the bike course but it turned out to be alright. The bike was a little long, at least by my computer, but considering this race was a little more expensive that’s ok. A few extra miles never killed anybody right? Last updated: 2008-03-26 12:00 AM

Woke-up about 5:00 gathered my stuff and headed down to TTL.
It was pretty crowded in the transition but I found a nice spot almost at the edge of one of the racks. Saw the Cool Kids as they were headed out of transition.
Swam out to the start buoy, heard it was going to be 8 minutes before we started so swam back to the ledge to stand around for a bit.
