Swim
Comments: Felt great swimming, but boy am I slow. Need to get into a Masters program to improve. Felt good in the water though. What would you do differently?: Develop some good technique Transition 1
Comments: I think the transition went well What would you do differently?: Not much Bike
Comments: Felt I did well in the bike, but probably needed to hydrate a little more What would you do differently?: Hydrate more Transition 2
Comments: Under a minute What would you do differently?: Not much thought I had things organized Run
Comments: Suffered on run from dehydration. Front quad cramps caused me to go much slower than I would have liked. Fought through it to finish strong and WITH A SMILE ! What would you do differently?: Hydrate and switch bodies with a much lighter person Post race
Warm down: Hydrated and walked around. Was worried about cramping up some more so I didn't stretch until later. What limited your ability to perform faster: I believe hydration and going out pretty fast on thebike. Overall this went well for a goal that I set while in the hospital in July 2007 recovering from a quintuple bypass at the age of 42. My goal was to recover and do a sprint distance triathlon and finish with a smile, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, what's next? Event comments: Needed more water stations. None on bike and one at the 2 mile mark on the run. Also more bathroom stations. For a first time race I beleive it was excellent and will be improved upon! Last updated: 2008-03-30 12:00 AM

I got up early and took a hot shower. Double checked everything I had already triple checked. Ate a bowl of cereal and had a Goo packet. Had some water and packed things up.
Took a little swim and jogged around
