Comments:

i was running late, I couldn't do any of my little rituals. I made the mistake of swimming close to the wall since i didnt get a chance to get further out.Got stung by jellyfish right smack in the face 2/3 of the way..it was BURNING...but i kept on going.
What would you do differently?:

get as far from the wall as possible.wear vaseline, see what happens to the jellyfish
Transition 1
  • 06m 41s
Comments:

Super ridiculous that we had 2 extra minutes to make it to transition zone as TZ yellow and not red, running in the freakin wet suit! That explains this ridiculous t-2 time
Bike

What would you do differently?:

hammered it more and used better water bottles since i lost 1 on the way up. i totally ran out of water like half way trhough.I was thirsty.

Event comments:

AWESOME!!! THE BEST PART of all was seeing Tmac finish this race. He was a real champ at entertaining the idea of doing this race...with hardly any training and no training direction...i think he realized it was worth all the 5am, and no Friday/saturday partying sacrifices.

We had a lot of fun! loved racing with the hams in NY as well ass seeing all the physically challenged loving humans!! so inspiring...i really love the human race!!
