Pre-race routine:

Had a bagel and cream cheese for breakfast. Headed over to the race to pick up timing chip. Checked my gear about 10 minute before the start of the race.
Event warmup:

Did a nice slow jog for about a half mile to losen up and warm up. Got in line in the middle of the back

Comments:

Run was nice and easy along the lakefront path. It was a little crowded in the beginning but opened up around mile 2. Overall I felt pretty good
What would you do differently?:

I probably could have pushed myself a little bit harder and ran closer to an 8:15.

Event comments:

It was a decent race and I enjoyed it. I would do it again next year. You get a nice long sleeve technical shirt and a medal at the end.
