Run
Comments: For me this was a victory by keeping a steady pace the entire race. Blister on my left little toe at mile nine caused me to run funny which resulted in a sore left foot for a couple days. What would you do differently?: Bandage that little toe. It has done it to me on occasion in the past. Post race
Warm down: No way. I was looking to warm up. And didn't until I got back to my car. I can't believe I didn't get sick. What limited your ability to perform faster: Training time. Event comments: I liked it! Last updated: 2008-04-04 12:00 AM

Up at 4am to get all of my stuff together. Had a big coffee and an apple to eat on the way to the MARTA station. Train ride was quick and was at the event by 5:45. That normally makes me feel good to be early, but it was FREEZING! I had underdressed, and really just wanted the race to start. I was wearing shorts, underarmor base, short sleeved shirt, long sleeved shirt, and pullover. I decided to start the race with everything on. Dropped bag off and waited in that horrible herd of people until the start.
Nothing...but I wish it had been a bon fire.
