Comments: At my level of training, this was a good swim. I felt strong, stayed on course and managed to stay with Dillard for the 1st couple hundred yards. What would you do differently?: Work on finding feet to draft off of. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: I got new bike race shoes today (Monday). This will help my transitions by keeping my shoes on the pedals. Not putting on bike shoes is one less thing to do. ![]() Bike
Comments: Other than Dime blowing by me, I felt good. I was a little slow up the last small climb before transition but overall this was a solid ride for me. ![]() Transition 2

Comments: Not a bad run but I have yet to go under 24 minutes on a 5K run off the bike. This continues to be a short term goal. I had a strong finish which makes me feel I left a little on the table. What would you do differently?: It's all about the training - which I don't do enough of. ![]() Post race

Up at 4am and rolling by 4:30 w/ Julia and the boys. Had the standard breakfast of Champions - Coffee, PB&J & a Banana. Thanks to Ted and Susan for lugging the gear and setting up the tent.
5 min run before transition closed and a 5 min swim before the gun.
