Comments: trail was very soft, but at least shaded as rest of course was in the hot sun. Wanted to go out faster then ever (did: 5:43). Weren't too many turns, but they killed me. Also turn up gravel drive just past second water stop was a killer. What would you do differently?: Nothing :-) Post race
Warm down: Stretched a little, and cheered rest of friends in. What limited your ability to perform faster: It's a PR! Not much! Calves weer a little sore.... ran a very fast 8 miles on Monday, and an 18:32 3 miler on Wednesday! Event comments: Plenty of bottled water and power ade after, plus pretzels, bagels, sliced oranges, and bananas. Nice Spread! Could've posted results quicker, but not bad. Woke 6:30. DD Lrg Coffee, Blueberry bagel. Hammer Gel / creatine / water mixture 15 minutes before start.
