Up at 4:20. Eat grape nuts with banana (no milk). Hydrate with Ultima. 1 1/2 cups of tea.

Comments:

Felt really good at the end and kicked a the end. Ran up the last big hill. Feel a lot better than after the Carlsbad 1/2
What would you do differently?:

Carry more water. Run more, but I was with Sandy and we were a team!

Walk, stretch. Walk. stretch. Water, water, water.

Event comments:

Needed more drink stations at midway point. Very crowded at the end and lines for buses were long.

Course: Big hill. Not much water at the 5 mile marker. Walked with Sandy up the hill and stopped to stretch frequently. It's done though! Woo-hoo.
