Pre-race routine:

arrived early 2hours early. oatmeal for breakfast. good time in the Word - excellent focus. Listened to Alicia Keys and focused on how much God wants me to be an example for Him in ALL I do. packed all bags night before.

8min run warmup 90 minutes early. weird race...couldn't warmup close to race time.

fix goggles well before beginning and test in shower..? stopped twice to fix goggles. relax in beginning and stay with pace in head

nice transition. cold - put on jacket and gloves before getting up to speed. moderate run to racks...very cold had to put on extra clothes. no booties...good decision.
