felt good, went harder than in past races; would probably keep the same level of effort next race to save some energy for the run
What would you do differently?:

only take in a second gel if I feel up for it, it might have caused cramping on the run.

tape pre-opened gels to bike frame

remove unncessary items from bike such as bento box, rear water bottle cages

felt moderate cramping from the start, held back some to prevent it from going into a full blown cramp that would've drastically slowed me down

didn't feel up to drinking anything

felt more fatigued than usual, not used to running off the bike right now

didn't have the usual kick/pick-up
What would you do differently?:

eat less on the bike

drink more on the run

do more HIGH INTENSITY brick work-outs!

limited training month before the race

no PEAK training/high intensity work-outs for speed and power

slow transitions

poor technique on bike U-turns

several pounds over my ideal race weight
